'Tis the season for limited edition Christmas gift sets
which also means, falling in love with Liz Earle products that little bit
more.
I'm a huge fan of Liz Earle, and her skincare line!
At the start of the year, I hopped on the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish hype,
and it's safe to say I couldn't imagine my skincare routine without it. Now,
I’m not going to ramble on about how truly magical the original Liz Earle
Cleanse & Polish is, as everyone and their grandma already owns it and loves
it! But, I thought I would write about this Limited Edition Sweet Orange and Clove set after I was very lucky that Santa manged to get his hands on it for me.
First off, let’s take a minute to admire the packaging. The gift box
comes in her signature aqua, come turquoise blue gift bag, printed on the
inside with two quotes from Liz herself, tied with a pretty blue ribbon– which is instantly recognisable for her brand, forming a language and
sense of communication itself.
The box instantly screams festive gift set with a touch of ‘I’m too cute
to just simply chuck in the bin’. Printed with polka dots, and decorated with a
wreath design with cut opened oranges, the box instantly tells the scent of the
cleanser to the consumer.
Inside the pretty box, which opens like a book, reveals a gold trimmed 150ml
bottle of the Sweet Orange & Clove scented Cleanse & Polish, paired
with two large signature muslin cloths.
On to the scent… The cleanser is a delicious mix of delicate citrus and
comforting clove, which really does smell like Christmas in a bottle now you
can’t get better than that? It’s a truly calming and comforting scent without
being too overwhelming, as it is a subtle yet delicious. Likewise with the original
Cleanse & Polish, it leaves your skin perfectly cleansed and refreshed, without being greasy.
As the bottle is 150ml this also means there's 50ml more compared to the original 100ml Cleanse & Polish. Which is truly needed since the set is limited edition and I want to string it out for as long as I possibly can, as I just can't get enough of the scent. I'm really hoping they continue this scent past Christmas, or at least bring it back for next year. But, in the mean time you can purchase it here.
